Svay Rieng(ខេត្តស្វាយរៀង) is located in the southeast of Cambodia and far about ~122km away from Phnom Penh capital and borders to the Prey Veng province and the Vietnam border.

Svay Rieng is a province in the southeastern of Cambodia and is bordered by Vietnam through a well-known international border called Bavet. It is an important route for road traffic, the relationship between the both countries is Cambodia and Vietnam. It is also the most attractive tourism site among the province's destinations. The province has its town called Svay Rieng.

Svay Rieng has its borders next to Prey Veng and Vietnam country. It is about 126 km from Phnom Penh, from the referral hospital (Svay Rieng) to Wat Phnom (Phnom Penh), traveling from Svay Rieng province along National Road 1 only.

Basically, the province depends on rice farming, agro-industry, and fruit planting. As for the province's tourism sector seems to have no interesting resorts, but the province has a casino in the Bavet border, there are some resorts and hotels to welcome for tourists.
