Kampong Chhnang(ខេត្តកំពង់ឆ្នាំង) is a province in the middle of Cambodia and far about ~91km away from Phnom Penh capital and borders to the Phnom Penh capital, Kampong Speu province, Pursat province, Kampong Thom province and Kampong Cham province.

Kampong Chhnang is a province next to Tonle Sab riverside which located in the central part of Cambodia and is a place known for producing good quality corkscrews. The province has a town called Kampong Chhnang and its symbol Independent monument Roundabout.

Kampong Chhnang has its borders next to Por Sat in the west, Kampong Cham in the east, Kampong Thom in the north, and Kampong Speou in the south. It is far away about 90 kilometres from Phnom Penh Capital city starting from its round about to Wat Phnom (Phnom Penh).

Basically, the province relies on corkscrew products, fishing, rice, vegetables, fruits, and garment…etc.

For tourism, the province is also a good location for both national and international tourists which like making research about history.

Talking about types of tourism, the province includes natural, and cultural tourism. However, cultural tourism is more popular because the place is the old site which has many old khmer fairy tales and historical mountain. Besides these, for recreational tourism has also many beautiful resorts which mostly create for the needs of tourists to visit.
