Banteay Meanchey(ខេត្តបន្ទាយមានជ័យ) is a province in the northwestern part of Cambodia and far about ~359km away from Phnom Penh capital and borders to the with Oddar Meanchey province, Siem Reap province, Battambang province, and the Thailand border.

Banteay Meanchey is a province in the northwestern part of Cambodia, an international border between Thailand and Cambodia, with two cities: Sisophon and Poipet City. Poipet, a border town with Thailand, is a key of economic site for cross-border trade between Cambodia and Thailand.

Banteay Meanchey Province borders to the west and north by Thailand, to the east by Oddar Meanchey and Siem Reap, and to the South by Battambang. The province is about 419km from Phnom Penh Capital, starting from Sisophon (Banteay Meanchey) round about to Wat Phnom (Phnom Penh), traveling from Banteay Meanchey province along National Road 6 only.

Banteay Meanchey is gaining popularity through international casinos. The casino has also been organized in other areas: restaurants, hotels and shopping areas.

For tourism, Banteay Meanchey province also has some tourism destinations to attract tourists because the province has a mountainous area and temples.

As for types of tourism, the province includes: cultural, nature and recreational tourism. However, the recreational tourism industry is the most popular in the area, because the province has dams, national parks, resorts, riverside resorts, casinos, especially international standard casinos. And for the natural tourism includes: mountains, rivers, and many natural landscape views which is a fascinating place for all tourists. Besides, for cultural tourism, there are some great temples that have been left by the ancestors of Cambodia since long times ago.
